Nutrien Ag Solutions was interested in working with WiseConn by implementing irrigation control and monitoring of almond and citrus orchards in the California Central Valley. A local grower, Anthony Furlong, is managing the test system by utilizing the DropControl irrigation automation system, testing the benefits of the online web-based scheduling platform, and irrigation data monitoring.

- Control of 2 pumps and 6 valves
- Monitoring 2 flow meters
- Manually irrigating 3 days/week, 8 hours/day
Project Goals:
- Reduce irrigation set times
- Irrigation outside of daily peak hours
- Ability to run separate pumps and valves into multiple blocks
Project Results:
- Automated irrigations 3 days/week, 4 hours/day
- Valve groupings for easier irrigation scheduling
- Flow data recordings for record keeping
