Gapway Mixon C.U.P.S, located in Fort Meade, Florida, was established in May 2025 with 80,000 citrus trees planted under Citrus Under Protective Screening. Inside these structures, temperatures can rise up to 20 degrees higher than in outside groves, making irrigation management essential. Operations Manager Sam Mixon uses WiseConn technology to monitor conditions, automate irrigation, and guide decisions as the farm grows.

For C.U.P.S., being able to monitor irrigation and make adjustments on the fly is huge for us. We irrigate at least two hours each day, and sometimes we test new schedules. This technology allows us to adapt quickly to what the trees need.
I use the templates and programs I built on the website to start irrigations, which makes the process much easier. The Gantt chart is especially helpful to confirm when a program was scheduled, if it executed, and whether there were any issues
