Monitoring, automatization and control
I definitely wouldn’t go back to manual irrigation. With DropControl, we uncovered several flaws in our irrigation systems, which pushed us to improve them. Thanks to this, we’ve achieved better production results. I recommend it 100%
Since I started using DropControl equipment, the biggest savings have been in water and electricity. Additionally, using soil moisture probes has made our irrigation scheduling more efficient, allowing us to manage exactly when and how often to irrigate.
We increased our production while using 15% to 25% less water. The efficiency, measured as pounds of fruit produced per acre-foot of water, also improved significantly.
By leveraging real-time data and automation technologies, the farm has maintained and even increased productivity, reduced its water footprint, and supported regional sustainability. This shows that efficient water management is essential not just for individual farmers, but for the entire community.
